Ingraham Applied Zoopharmacognosy (IAZ) enables self-medicative behaviour in domesticated or captive animals by offering plant extracts that would contain the same, or similar constituents to those found in an animal's natural environment. The practice encourages and allows an animal to guide its own health, since unlike their wild counterparts, Captive and domesticated animals rarely have the opportunity to forage on medicinal plants. You can visit and learn about zoopharmacognosy on Caroline's site here www.carolineingraham.com

I am so incredibly lucky to have found Caroline and her work this year as she has 30 years experience and treats many different species both domestic and wild, you can read about them on her website. This subject is fascinating and I'm so lucky to have been able to do both the Feline gateway 1 & 2 at the IAZ and what an enjoyable and surprising experience that was.  We had two cats in the first gateway, a beautiful male show cat with Asthma and a wonderful domestic shorthair (DSH) male who was considered to not have much wrong with him. After amazing sessions both cats revealed so much information about themselves in the remedies that they chose and both cats have progressed really well since the sessions. The show cat can now breathe much easier and is much more comfortable as is the beautiful DSH

In the second gateway my lovely Bjarti was one of the cats and the other was an RSPCA cat that needing homing. We had a wonderful day and Bjarti surprised me so much with the remedies that he chose and he is still working with some of the remedies now. Having attended both gateways I am now in the wonderful position to be able to work with other people's animals under the guidance of the IAZ, so that's amazing! I have also been working with kittens and Treacle in a small way and had amazing results. When Bjarti has finished with the remedies I will be putting his story up on his page.
